The Meek Makes A Good Sacrifice Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

The Meek Makes A Good Sacrifice

Elephant, nor a horse,
Nor tiger— not of course;
Poor goats always suffice
For every sacrifice,
And gods seem to endorse,
Let meek and mild be slain,
Seems to be the refrain,
Heaven has its own mores.
