The Moment Of Truth

Many times, my thoughts stray back,
to yesteryear! Thoughts, when I was
happy, knowing you were still here.
Taking things for granted, was very
natural to do, but how different I felt,
after losing you! Each day, we know
is a gift, but we don't realize it, till
something precious is gone, then
comes the moment of truth, life
does, go on! It's not easy to face,
but you manage to pull through it
just the same. As we all know, life
is, a waiting game! No matter how
much time passes, how can I forget?
I'll always have thoughts of you and
that's something, I'll never, ever
regret!
