My Krishna and my Saraswati,
As you know, today is Chingam one,
The first day of a new month with the
Beginning of a new century
In the Malayalam calendar;
Kindly shower on us your blessings,
Love and mercy with peace in the world,
And protect the welfare of all the
Living things on this beautiful Earth!
