Sneaking behind the highest mountains,
the tangerine sun kisses the sleeping skies.
The sunrise descends to bless my way
as here comes another glorious day
away from the humdrum of yesterday
flowing across like a rock-gurgling stream
into the unknown valley of tomorrow.
As I turn my back to the mountains I know
I can never go back to yesterday
for this day and me are now one!
Treading towards the spring down below
I promise I shall not think about tomorrow
for the mystery is still behind the rising sun!
I descend further the mountains of despair,
loss, rejection, and humiliation,
and I silently thank Him for today,
a sea full of opportunities, experiences, and jubilation.
Knowing fully well that I can get only what is predestined,
I serenely walk back to the spring down below.
It has been another grandday at the mountains!
