Does anyone recall the wildly eclectic
Children's TV show from way back in the '70s:
The Multi- Coloured Swap Shop? With Noel, Keith, Maggie
And John, and of course, the one and only: Posh Paws!
O there were interviews with pop stars and cartoons
Galore! There were interesting news and issues
Covered by Mr. Craven and 'Swaparama'
With the seemingly, ever so excitable,
Mr Keith Chegwin, regularly travelling
To various locations across the U.K.
O there was so much to take in; so many things
To fuel my already febrile imagination!
Sadly like anything we tend to enjoy in
Our youth, albeit through rose - tinted spectacles,
The show ended, and our Saturday mornings were
Never the same again; not so multi - coloured!
I remember it well Dominic, use to start watching then quickly turned over to watch TISWAS. Because that was a touch of madcap class and with the Phantom Flan Flinger and Spit the Dog. A real whacky show with Chris Tarrant and Lenny Henry too.10++ for the memories and today no Noel Edmonds. Thanks Dominic and take care.

I would like to translate this poem
Thanks Shaun...I'd love it if you composed a poem about TISWAS...to be honest it sounds a lot more fun than Swap Shop. I think that you could could create a real, rip roaring poetic effect with words like the Phantom Flan Flinger (great alliteration) and Spit the Dog!
