The Music Of The Great Musician Resonates In Me Poem by Mohammad Younus

The Music Of The Great Musician Resonates In Me

The music of the Great Musician resonates in me;
I drink the wine of music, but I don't lose my sobriety;
Saqi, who distributes the wine, says...
...I can give you barrels of wine to drink in my bar;
I drink cup after cup but, still, I remain sober;
It unfolded the book of knowledge, preserved in me;
Saqi's next gift was to give me honey water to drink;
'This is something special for you, MyKoul', he says;
The streams of wisdom started flowing in me;
The Honeyd Name I hear with my heart's ears;
And so I drink the honey water, without taking a pause;
Every word of wisdom that descends on me...
...to my treasure of Irfan adds;
That's the grace of Gracious God, and only that I want;
The Great Revelator is my real guru, my true guide!
Who else can guide me to Him?
