The Natural Course Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I never felt dissatisfied and lamented
The natural course and behavior always appreciated
Never condemned bad and gave so much importance to good
As both were to be balanced and properly understood

One can not be equated with another
As one leads to joy and another leads to bother
Both carry significance in life and stay together
For one thing we shy off and for another carry a feather

People or for that matter everybody prays a rising sun
They go after it and sometimes make lots of fun
Lot many words are said in praise only to please
With expectation of some favor in return or release

It is human tendency to look for and go with sunny side
The angle has always remained narrow and differences very wide
Everyday we come up with strong resolve to fare better
But soon forget to take up or push for the stage later

Life as such is considered precious
You may cope up with problems and become famous
It has double tendency to take you up and excel
Or push down to valley and show you real hell

Everybody will not be blessed with comforts
We come through unnatural death reports
Some people are afraid of and end life with suicides
Life becomes intolerable and frustration is unbearable to hide

Life can’t be carried on with heavy burdens
It must be faced with lots of struggle even
It is mental feeling and forces us to loose patience
Life can be lived full length despite lot many odds presence

If death has to take over then no one can rescue
It has to come by any means if destiny is due
We are here to fulfill the mission and come alive
The life philosophy must be understood and believed

Many have taken birth this before and gone peacefully
Their names are inscribed on stones as they lead it successfully
If their contribution was well worth and exemplary
Their name was to be considered as formidable and necessary

At one particular moment you are at height of the peak
At very next moment you are pushed on the ground as weak
Your place is taken over by another deserving and capable man
Hence life is to be understood properly and lived as human

We need not worry about tomorrow’s fate
We will be no more to witness it on that date
Let life be enjoyed as is blessed in present form
Let us learn closely and stay properly informed
