The Nevermore Of Forever Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

The Nevermore Of Forever

A forever to love.
Heard to hear and witnessed vowed.
Can take one argument that becomes,
A nevermore to wish...
Vowing to love and commit to it.
When one discovers true happiness,
Begins after admitting...
To never again vow to anything publicly,
What has been heard before others to hear it.
With them to ask,
Where is that forever.
And if it is reminisced to miss.
To be reminded of it more.
Than attempts made to forget it.
Forever!
