The New American Dream Poem by Francie Lynch

The New American Dream

Rating: 5.0

If I was a bigot,
Or xenophobic,
Or prejudiced,
Or sexist,
Or racist,
Or even Evangelical,
I would argue
The Wrath of God
Has enveloped America,
Like a plague.
But I'm not, and I can't.
I'm a non-believer
In America.
I'm atheistic with the New American Nightmare.
