The New Brooms Poem by Tony Adah

The New Brooms

Rating: 5.0

If they be made from the same palm fronds
Of the same palm trees,
I doubt if they will sweep clean
Not that they are strange to the corners
of the house,
But too new they will be too flabby to duty
And too old, they will be too brittle to sweep
Or just lie looking at dirt
I am waiting for Thomas to prove me wrong.

Sweeping clean is really interesting in shared poem. Wise sharing.
