The New From The Old - Poem by Jessica Charlie

A man who lived on the streets of L.A.;
Aproached my heart with deep desire;
Such needs, such wants of a better way;
He loved me like warmth loved fire;
Such passion and beauty, without education;
Hope is in his soul and love was in mine;
Our Earth, the moon and the sun reline.
But then he took me,
And off we went,
This is all happening,
With out my concent,
But you always must take,
The new from the old,
Do not fight it,
And do what your told,
And no one gets hurt.
