The night is a beautiful time,
The stars shine bright,
And the sky's all fine!
The moon 'shrouded',
Adds to the ambience.
Compels us to think
Thoughts without sense!

The night is a lovely time,
Cause In this hour
Our beloveds are remembered,
In this hour
Our poems find rhyme!

The night is a majestic time,
Cause In this hour
Our worries are gone,
In this hour
Our 'follies' looked upon,
And in this hour
Our 'new-avatar' is born!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
'The Night' is a majestic and magnificent hour that always has surprises wrapped for us.The night is the time, when most of us behave as our true-selves.The hour we look into ourselves, our deeds, our follies, our achievements and what not! In this hour we remember our friends and all our loved ones.In my opinion, we rather discover a 'new-self' each night.Believe me or not, we all imagine things in our head before going to sleep, so much so that even our dreams at night are also centred around our thoughts, our friends and the places and people that matter to us.And above all poets like me get the ideas for their work in this peaceful and soothing hour since this is the hour when we are actually away from the hubbub of life.The contentment we get on seeing the shrouded moon trying itself to hide behind the clouds, the twinkling stars, and the smooth breeze that gently touch our hair gives us a feeling we were longing since ages.So friends try to open up the surprises that the night has in store for you and tell me what new you unveiled in yourself!

I find the night and especially the dark bring me fear. I see imaginary monsters lurking in corners but in the morning, when I'm dewy fresh, I write my best poetry..... :) This evening I'm enjoying yours...
