The Night Of The 8 Eyes Poem by Justin Gildow

The Night Of The 8 Eyes

The night of the 8 eyes is upon us
In the scroll, there's a scripted opus
For it says the 8 eyes are what makes the universe
As well as the existance of love
And the movement of the stars
And the importance of life

The 8 eyes are spiritually magical diamonds
And on this night, they'll all glow

Look at each of them
They each are a different color
Together, those colors make a rainbow

The 8 eyes all bear a name
The Wing Of Angels
The Tear Of The Nile
The Dancing Princess Of Frenellia
The Devil Of Zimbabwe
The Nail Of Nightmares
The Fairy Of Granada
The Blood Of Tutankhamun
The Butterfly Of Pereshusu

They've been all placed into the Altar Of Peace

The door has opened in the wall in front of us
I believe we're so blessed on this night
As we take a hold of each other's hands

We walk inside
Hoping for the best
For the both of us
