The Night Wanderer Poem by Bryan Taplits

The Night Wanderer

Rating: 5.0

The skies are drear, the winds are chill
Don't wish this on a foe,
This day is past-or nearly so-
And this is what I fear:
The night is coming in all it's strength
The moon probably hid or cast,
And that one burden of this day I must carry-
I just hope it doesn't last.
But the night was not as dark as I envisioned it would be,
The stars twinkled, my path revealed in their lights,
And the trail I traversed I well could see
On this special and translucent night.
