The Nobility Of Man Poem by Bryan Taplits

The Nobility Of Man

Not every thing is fast and true
For in youth we believe we
are all pawns,
But as we grow into men
we learn that most men are indeed kings-
With the wives royal queens-
And in every home-therein -a royal throne.
The children are princes and princesses
A signet of regal humanity,
Yes, they may cry, may rage,
and shake their fists
But all subscribe
To this royal family.

Thus, if we all live long enough-
which in this Life can be tough-
Our familial kingdoms' become
Future's posterity.
And no longer are we pawns
Nor serfs to be ruled
For our kingdoms'-
now entwined
in future's new Dawns-
Are inscribed as Eternity's
Royalty.
