The None Rhyming Poem (Maybe It's Not A Poem At All)

I feel like I am standing. No…Drowning three feet under water.
Screaming for help. But no one seems to be coming.
I feel like my own Carbon is filling my lungs
The more I try to push the water away from my mouth the more air I loose.
-CAN YOU HEAR ME! --

Like I am drowning in the emotions that I am trying to deny I have.
The feelings that I feel will only cause harm
So I try to dropp hints that I am feeling a certain way but your not catching them.
Where am I -AMING- them?
How am I -THROWING-them?
Why aren’t -YOU- catching them?

Love is a funny thing
The best way to know you have it
Is when it is almost gone

I will always have problems with myself
cause I’m always comparing myself to what I believe is beautiful
And let me tell you most of the time
-IT”S NOT ME-

I know I have a heart
Cause I can hear it beating
If I could I would put it in a box and throw it in a well
One so deep it will never come back
-YOU”RE SAFE THERE-

A persons heart was not meant to become puzzle pieces
They never seem to fit right after they fell to the floor
There always seems to be that one missing piece
- HAVE YOU FOUND THAT SELF-ESTEEM PIECE YET? -

Sometimes I miss my smokes so much
They gave me that breath of fresh air

I feel like I am the burden in my relationships
I guess sometimes I can’t roll with the punches
Sometimes they leave burses
Like the nice shiner left on my ego
-MAYBE IT”S CAUSE IM HUMAN-

I don’t like to hurt other people
I don’t want them to feel my pain
But where does that leave me?
-ALONE--

Pity parties are no fun
But I am always getting invited to them.
-MAYBE I SHOULDEN”T R.S.V.P-

i naturally have a heavy heart
for years i have been putting people in there
They tend to leave, but their problems always stay
-MAYBE IT WILL HURT LESS NEXT TIME-
