The Ocean Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

The Ocean

The waves rise and fall,
a breath too vast to measure.
Salt lingers on the air,
the taste of time itself.

The horizon stretches endlessly,
blurring where the sea ends
and the sky begins.
It holds a silence that speaks,
a vastness that humbles.
