To see your shining face again
Bright with life
I yearn for just a few moments with you
The only place I can be me

Time ticks so slowly
My anxious soul has yet to calm
Hours seem like days
Days seem like years
I yearn for just a few moments with you
The only place I am free

Your smile and your laughter
The only things that keep me breathing
I would never miss a chance to see you
Because there is no one in the world like you

You don't know how much you mean to me
You've opened my mind to a happier time
You're slowly melting the ice
that has surronded my heart
I yearn for just a few moments with you
The only time I smile

I could say those infamous 3 words
But it wouldn't even touch the surface
of what I feel inside
Holding on to distant memories
Which is the only thing that keeps me going
