The Outlet Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

The Outlet

Disappointed;
Missing aim
Standing in the darkness
Knowing last best chance
Exhausted, went fruitless
In sight of the goal
Falling breathless soul
Almost with no strength at all
Walking ways alone
With broken heart
Sorrows all unknown
Worries, frustration, fear
They do come with emotions
And propel waves of anger
Good or bad we know never
It makes us scream
And in the process ever
Pains and agonies vanish
Thereby bad energy released
And good energy takes birth and cherish
Like river, emotion runs
To join sea and forget its identity
Only to be seen happy
With vastness of reality…………
