The Owl And Hare Debate Poem by Larry Schreckengost

The Owl And Hare Debate

So you think you'll try to catch me
I'm pretty sure you won't
And to be perfectly honest
I'd prefer you don't

And though it doesn't matter now
I did not hear you leave your bough
Too late for me to go
Now the last thing I will know
Is flying over snow
