Oh thank you for my new boots
This pair will surely see good use
To have had these in my passionate youth
When nature filled my dreams
Crossing wild and distant streams
Oh thank you for my new boots
Let's find a nice wood to stroll
Off where the black walnuts grow
We'll shake the trees to set some free
And have a snack just you and me
Oh thank you for my new boots
Walk with me through pretty trees
Until the sun is no longer round
Slowly melting to the ground
Wandering home through golden Leaves
As happy as we can be
Oh thank you for my new boots
So simple and quick write it reminds me of receiving gifts. Nice
