The Pain And The Painkiller Poem by Prem Nizar Hameed

Will the Pain and the Pain killer
decide to separate now?
They were in deep love for sometime
They used their hearts and minds
To share their love feelings each other;

Now the Pain killer asked the Pain:
"Is it right or wrong what we do? "
Then the Pain advised the Pain killer:
"It is your mind that is the decision maker
And you cannot oscillate like a pendulum,
Asking yourself whether it is right or wrong!
Stand either firmly on your right or
Stand firmly on our wrong;
You cannot travel by legging on
Two boats of right and wrong,
That's difficult for you to have a safe journey.
If your mind strongly says that it is wrong,
Then you change your mind and go ahead peacefully;
If your mind strongly says that it is right,
Then stay firmly as before"

The Pain killer soon asked the Pain:
"If my mind decides to leave you,
How do you manage the situation? "

The pain replied firmly with a smile:
"I don't know, as you have already blended with my soul,
However, my name is Pain, pain knows what pain is,
And how to bear pain; Pain's life is always painful,
True lovers always stand for each other's wellbeing,
So, don't worry about me at all,
Take your firm decision."

Will the Pain killer leave the Pain?
Or will the Pain send off the Pain killer,
Saying all the best, my dear?
Or will the Pain, for the rest of the time, live like Devdas?
Or will their fate say like what a famous movie character says:
"Everything has its own time, Daasaa..? "
