The Partition Literature, They Are Not Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Partition Literature, They Are Not

The Partition Literature they are not,
I mean the partitioned people not,
But the others are writing about,
Not after feeling their pains,
Not after hearing the pathetic tales
Of the Partition,
Inhuman and dastardly,
Cruel and callous enough,
Just for to sit on chair,
The power-crazy people,
I mean the politicians,
The guilty men of the Partition

And now they are not
Those who suffered, struggled to survive
Bearing the brunt of
Burns, injuries,
Hurts and wounds,
Scars and pains,
But those who want doctorates
For their career advancement,
I mean the assistant professors
Writing on,
Working for their theses
As for their CAS, Career Advancement Scheme.
