I will not be original
I will not be creative, witty
My lyrics
when set beside
all the other lyrics
written throughout time
will seem cliche and insignificant
My song, as others,
will come to pass and fade away
as we fade away
I will write no more
and no less
than what I know how
But with every iota of my soul
the words will be sincere...
