The Past, Mythologized Poem by james watkin

The Past, Mythologized

The Past, too wrapped up in
Its own mythology
Of what's lost, stranger fogged
Gives details only.

Like some jungle empire's
Templed ruin hid.
Former royal house of
This my demi god's
Blessed state, goldly imbued!
As so felt amid.
