The path of a martial artist is never an easy one,
Intense training each day under the golden sun,
Conditioning of the spirit, body, mind and soul,
Learning to be always calm and under control,
It takes hard work to master the many fighting forms,
It takes persistence and courage to walk through the storms,
To rise back up stronger each time from the dirt of defeat,
To have a strict training routine and to watch what you eat,
Extreme hand-eye coordination is the most important of all,
The key to it all that can make any opponent fall,
Breaking bricks and baseball bats to increase bone density,
Improving speed and strength by turning up training intensity,
Years of dedication filled with effort and persistence,
To bring your ultimate fighting form into the world of existence,
Martial arts to most is just another form of ancient art,
But to me it is a way of life deeply connected to my beating heart.
