The Path To Glory - Poem by Rik Bertrand

We all start off as infants in a complex world, we have no idea of what to expect in life. As we grow older, we all search for the path to glory, the road to our own freedom, our sanctuary, and our very own paradise. We travel and we hit forks in our paths, and sometimes untimely decisions alter the direction we take. Poor decisions although not always decisive can alter the course of history, can turn the corner of time and propel the world into glory or devastation. But do not judge your ways, for you are on a path to your own glory, the fork you take does not matter as long as it was your decision to take it. You must reach up and grasp your soul, take it in and nurture it, and let it guide you to your destiny. The path to glory is right there in front of you, step by step you get closer to your true meaning in life. It may not be what you expect; it may not be what you really wanted, but it is your Glory. Treasure each stepping stone, remember from where you came, and never ever forget, for it is the foundation of your happiness. God Bless you All.
