The peacePeace of As-Salam—
not merely the silence after war,
not merely the pause between storms,
but a river flowing from the throne of As-Salam,
spilling over hearts, over lands,
softening the sharp edges of time.
It descended on a night wrapped in divine hush—
'Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.'
A whisper in the stillness, a secret carried in the wings of angels,
a light settling upon the trembling soul of a man,
preparing him to hold the weight of the heavens.
The Name That Sings of Peace
Peace—
not merely a wish upon lips,
not merely a greeting exchanged in passing,
but a name among the Most Beautiful,
etched into eternity:
'He is the Peace.'
To know peace is to know Him,
to walk in its shade is to walk in His presence.
It is justice poured like rain upon the thirsty earth,
it is the weight of truth placed evenly upon the scales.
'Be just—that is nearer to righteousness.'
And in that nearness, the heart finds peace.
The Path of the Just and the Humble
Peace—
not merely the absence of swords,
not merely the quelling of voices raised in anger,
but a step taken gently upon the earth,
a reply given to ignorance with the quiet strength of grace:
'Peace! '
It is patience when the tide of hatred rises,
dignity when provoked,
forgiveness when vengeance is easy,
mercy where wounds once bled.
It is the lesson of the Prophet—
standing before his enemies, unshackled by the past,
declaring, 'No blame will there be upon you today.'
The Eternal Greeting
Peace—
not merely a vision for tomorrow,
not merely a longing for paradise,
but a promise written in the fabric of the unseen.
When the veils are lifted, when the soul steps beyond the shadows,
the first word it shall hear—
'Peace! '
A welcome into a garden where sorrow cannot tread,
where patience finds its reward,
where hearts rest in the embrace of the Ever-Peaceful.
And Until That Day—
Let peace be the work of our hands,
the prayer upon our tongues,
the road we walk and the footprints we leave behind.
Let it be the justice we uphold,
the mercy we offer,
the bridge we build between hearts.
For peace is not merely the dream of the weary,
not merely the song of the hopeful,
but the call of the Divine—
and to answer it is to find Him.
