The Peacock Princess Dance Poem by Mark Heathcote

The Peacock Princess Dance

Let us be frank - worlds are doing cartwheels
At this tremulous moment, at the click of your heels,
Whilst doing her finest Peacock dance, spinning wheels
Are what superimposes, anneals
We're all in your shoes, watching you.
Glide-like kinetic energy, all spirituality imbue.
(In a hurricane trajectory)
The calm within the storm, tangible
Washes over me; touches us all
Like a dervish dress, intangible
Spinning, keeping us all magically enthralled.
