I want to go back to that moment -

the moment of inexplicable expectation!

How do I?

When magic was about to happen,

But did not.

That moment is frozen in time.



I want to go back to that moment!

With a beating heart and tears in my eyes,

long for that moment,

When love was about to bloom,

Like a Glorious Lotus in its splendour!

But did not. And I don't know why.



We looked at each other, and we gazed at the stars in the dark sky,

The sky remained silent as if to hear some promise,

The trees quietly whispered to each other,

Stars blinked to give some assurance,

It was so quiet, like one word would shatter the silence of the night,

A perfect moment!



It was nobody's fault that nothing happened,

We kept walking beside each other,

The hearts almost exploded,

But we did not open our hearts!

The moment got frozen in time!

A moment of love and joy and unfathomable happiness,

One kiss - that would have made the difference,

But we just kept walking - to nowhere!
