The Plot Against Persecution Poem by Raj Dronamraju

The Plot Against Persecution

I met her on Craigslist
And she exposed the plot against persecution
The rejection of any club that would have me as member meant that the club did offer me membership at some point

The parallel me that knew scores and scores of women
He worked clandestinely on behalf of the plot against persecution
Reminding me that life right now is not life as it has been lived for all my existence

Please tell me that your addictive alabaster skin and walnut fathomless expansive eyes
Report to esteem but found him absent
I am old and a joke but bite like a snake if anyone comes too close in tall grass

You put your fingers in my mouth and I played along
You said everything I wanted to hear but it won't satisfy the lack of appreciation of the last few years
There are those who deny themselves the pleasure of victory or the victory of pleasure
