The 'Poem A Day' Project - Day 06 Poem by Flying Lemming

Six days in and my mind has gone blank
Have I got a leak in my own think tank
Has easy living meant I have lost the drive
And passion to keep the skill alive
Has lack of exercise taken its toll
I do little more than an occasional stroll
Do I need a sharp shock to jump-start my brain
Like a bungee jump or a leap from a plane

Does a new outlook mean more ideas or is it true to say
The more you learn the more you know so there are less shades of grey
Is knowledge just a wall that will stop all contemplation
When you know all do you stop looking for an explanation
Is the person who knows nothing the one with the most to say
This must be true as I know little, but got through another day
