The Poet's Dilemma - I Poem by leonard daranjo

The Poet's Dilemma - I

You knew you had to wait
You knew you had to focus
You knew you needed patience
And self belief too
But underneath your apparent calm
Was a bubbling subterfuge
Which you tried to paddle your way out of
With the help of a silver spoon

This 'bubbling subterfuge' is perhaps the driving inspiration! 10! Raj Nandy
