The Polar Ends Of Hope Poem by Luce Darwin

The Polar Ends Of Hope

I am being torn asunder

I must be quarantined
before I become a plague

I can never be let out
of this prison

Sometimes I wake up
with a weird desire
to crash my car
into the Charles River
