A ponderer pondered
when the servants
become the masters
did they become
better or worse
than their masters

would they show more kindness
or would they
be more cruel
would they show more love
or would they show
more hatred
the ponderer pondered

When their masters
become their servants
would forgiveness or revenge
be welcomed into their hearts

The ponderer thought
upon these things
but he could not come to a conclusion
his mind so full of confusion
when a servant becomes a master
what might be the changes
that it brings!
