The Power Of Limitations Poem by Hedy Henderson

The Power Of Limitations

Rating: 4.5

The power of limitations.
Sage once more, old white man.
So happy to live in mental cages, America.
Mother Earth-
Each soul as a cell
Riddled with cancer.
Perhaps the greatest freedom,
Is the power to dream!
To whom belongs this great..., free..., nation?
A slave of all colors.
Many lands,
One Mother.
To whom can freedom belong?
Without contrast,
There cannot be.
Freedom must not be taken, I say-
Before it has been given.

Lovely piece of poetry, well articulated and insightfully penned with conviction. A nice poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
