The Precious Need No Pretence Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

The Precious Need No Pretence

Rating: 5.0

The petty need pretend all the more,
Lighter leak the clouds that louder roar,
Gold makes no grander sound
Than base metals resound,
Gold is still gold, brass goes far baser.
