The Precious Tomb Of Jesus Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

The Precious Tomb Of Jesus

The precious tomb of Jesus, carved in stone
Holds tales of sorrow, love, and triumph too
For in this sacred place, His body lay alone
But from this tomb, new life would soon ensue
His followers wept, with heavy hearts they mourned
Their teacher and their friend now gone from sight
But little did they know, their faith was soon reborn
For on the third day, He would shine with glorious might
The tomb, a symbol of death and despair
Now transformed into a symbol of hope and grace
For in its depths, a miracle did occur
And from it, a new era did embrace
The precious tomb of Jesus, a reminder to us all
That even in darkness, light can still prevail
For from this tomb, He rose and broke death's thrall
And His love and sacrifice, forever we'll hail
So let us bow our heads and give our praise
To the precious tomb of Jesus, where glory forever stays.
