The Prettiest Flower Ever Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Prettiest Flower Ever

(I dedicated this poem to Alain Barrière (Bellec) , a French singer-poet that I love.I am admitting listening to his beautiful songs while I am writing. I am shocked about his death. I wrote this poem not knowing that Alain Barrière had passed away today, December 19,2019.
RIP my brother!)

The Prettiest Flower Ever

Lilly is the prettiest flower of all time.
She is the most picturesque peacock of spring,
And the finest mermaid swimming in the pond.

Nothing is more appealing than the smile of a noble woman,
Which inspires love, kindness, style and charm.
This woman heals the body, the heart and the soul.

The woman seated, on the bench, changes the decor of the garden.
She's the prettiest butterfly, who hangs out on the chests
Of Venus, the statue that makes the poets and the crazy
Lost lovers, of the dense forest, dream, while on vacation

A woman is the most bewitching flower in the universe.
She inspires poets and scribes to write epic verses;
Next to her, we are in paradise; far from it is hell.
We tend to disregard her nails which can tear flesh.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Denis Mair 20 December 2019

Yes, even though she is not in water, we see her move as if swimming. Even though she is not a flower, she proclaims purity like a lily. The garden becomes a bower around her, giving a greenlight to daydreams. Fortunate is the poet whose words are worthy of her.
