The Promise Poem by Laura arwen

The Promise

Sometimes for me
the promises are
a lie or
a mess
The promise is
like an obligation
but not exist
the habit
We fulfil the
promise in silence
Sometimes the promise
is a pretext
to escape from
the life and
the world
For some people
the promise is
the reason to
survive and fight
this society
I don't respect
the promise because
I'm a total
Ranger
For me the
promise is an
unforgivable sin
The promise isn't
eternal
The promise is
in total wane
I don't believe
in the promise
because it is
a shame and
a defeat
I think that
the promise is
useless and inefficacious
The promise isn't
an oath but
a lie
The promises linger
on the humanity
in the deep
darkness
The modern society
entrusts itself at
the promise but
it is its
ruin
The promise is
an invisible evil
I hate the
promises

WOW! You preside over the wake of The Promise, say a few nice words and then pour the dirt over it and it's buried. But you didn't kill PROMISE. That had been done by people who abuse promises, manipulate them, offend them, . Until there is nothing left to trust.
