The Proposal Poem by Justina Nicole Haner

The Proposal

We went for a moonlit walk at midnight in the snow
He held me around the waist while we stargazed
Then he let go of me and got down on one knee

He pulled out the small black box and opened it
'Justina will you marry me? ' came his soft voice
'Of course I will' i replied as tears shone in my eyes

The way the moonlight reflected in his blue eyes
His white smile and beautiful, kissable lips
See I love him more than you'll ever know
