The Purpose Of Life

To tread the fields in morning's glow,
And feel the earth beneath my feet,
To watch the rivers gently flow,
And hear the whispering grasses greet.

To gather stars in quiet skies,
As twilight drapes the world in rest,
To seek the truth in lovers' eyes,
And cradle beauty in my breast.

To know the rush of summer rain,
The softness of a petal's hue,
To drink in joy, to cradle pain,
And find the world forever new.

The purpose lies in moments small,
In fleeting sights, in tender care,
To love, to lose, to rise, to fall,
To simply be, and find it fair.

In every breath, a gift complete,
The endless now beneath our feet.
