The Queen Ofthe Soul Poem by Santosh Misra

The Queen Ofthe Soul

THE QUEEN OF THE SOUL

Welcome! Welcome! !
Oh! The Queen of my Soul
You are welcomedto this
Virgin land of empathy,
Despite an uncompleted royal touch in the arrangements
Towards a gallant welcome.

Oh! The Queen of my Soul
I am yet sunk in the ocean of confusions
If, at all,
The sudden appearance of
Colored blossoms in my deserted garden
And the shining petals of gulmohar in the avenue
Sprinkled in succession
Establish the impression of a red carpet
Spread along with the symphony of love and regards as the initials
Of the ceremonious event.

Beyond these a ray of distrust dominates all moments
And moves to sing in cohesion the melancholy,
Oh! The Queen of the Soul
Welcome to this
Virgin land of empathy.
