me, a young traveller
on the route of life,
am moving along the wind
with questions many
and answers none.
to directions unknown,
and Lands far away
in search of Him,
Him being God.
who is He?
they call him the lord of lords
they say that He is omnipresent,
they believe that He resides in all.
He resides in me?
is a question unclear,
for i have never seen Him
And i have never known Him.
who is He?
the One termed God.
what is His name?
where is He from?
is He the One who concieved the world?
is He the One who gave birth to life?
questions many,
answers none.
the guardian of all,
they call Him
he cares for all,
they say.
am in his care?
am i not?
me a young traveller,
moving along the wind
in search for Him
Him being God.
i will see Him once
and ask Him just one question,
haven't you ever seen me?
for i have been wandering for long,
with a soul bleeding for you...
gr8 poem, simple and true. gr8 thinking and gr8 topic. beautifully expressed with no bombastic terms. the poem is brief and explanatory. brevity is the soul of wit. and the question still remains in the hearts of many'who is god' i wonder. good work. keep it up. by the way thanx for the comments on my poem
Very intelligent! The poem almost a Questionnaire and I am bit helpless as a small creature I only know two things. We come like water and go like wind. That's my entire dear.
Nice write; you pose valid questions; perhaps some of them can be answered now; please see the following poems of mine: 'Daily Bread', 'Experiencing God', 'Petitions to God' and 'Spiritual Irony'.
i like the line 'moving along the wind' it has a certain aura, pulls up memories that aren't there, like shifting sand dunes in a desert, unearthing and burying secrets constantly.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
