The Rain Lashes Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Rain Lashes

.Tha rain lashes

The clouds clash
and rush
to greet the mother earth
without caring for own death

mother earth has all to rejoice
as rain God has promised
to make her all the time joyous
the friendship between two is famous

the long dry spell has ended
as mother earth had awaited
warm welcome has been accorded
the sweet words have been offered

the clay leaves fragrance behind
the flowers even feel it not kind
the clay has special omission
of general nature with full admission

Nature is pleased
to see that opportunity is not missed
both are fulfilling the promises
with love and with full force

Good. A little re-work could make the poem even better. Supratik Sen
