The Reflexion In The Mirror Poem by Margo Reid

The Reflexion In The Mirror

Looking into the mirror, I saw a reflection of me
Did I like what I see?
I love my complexion and my big brown eyes
I love my big wide smile
I love my nose, ears and my short black hair.

I look again; I wish I could change a part of me,
I didn’t like what I see
I don’t like my figure – my size
I know I should be wise
But I hate my size!

The reflex ion in the mirror is looking back at me!
She asks “Do you like what you see? ”
I said, “I wish I was someone else! ”
But right now, I have to learn how to love myself! ”
