The Stranger I See, When I Close My Poem by Margo Reid

The Stranger I See, When I Close My

I close my eyes and see
A stranger standing in front of me
His eyes, were full of tears
Reminding me of my shy years,
His heart feel no pain’ his world is destroy
His heart stood still
Like a house on top of the hill,
I want to take all his pain away
But there’s no hope it is where he’ll have to stay,
His life is full of sorrows
Like there’s no tomorrow
It was time for him to go, I said, “Farewell my friend’
Where he goes, Only God knows,
This will not be the end
I wanted for him to come back to me
Only an illusion of him, I could see.
