The Revelation Of The Goodness Of God! Poem by Denis Martindale

Each borough has the witnesses, the Christians who declare,
Lord Jesus and His promises we see revealed through prayer.
We turned towards the left some days but found that wasn't right,
Yet once we choose to mend our ways, God grants us new insight.
Why send that insight to our hearts and then renew our minds?
Why send the wisdom that imparts new blessings that each finds?

God only knows the future path, the perfect plan prepared,
And though at times, at this we laugh, the perfect Father cared.
Enough to persevere with us, more goodness to express,
And if faithful to Lord Jesus, we share His happiness!
And despite Man's sinful blunders encountered on the road,
God has shared His signs and wonders to ease Man's heavy load.

By revelation, here, somehow, what precious things we gain!
Yet there's much more than even now God's eager to explain!
