The Rose
The rose you have given me
Is red in hue
It has red petals
Like your soft lips
It has enough fragrance
Like the sweet aroma
Of your delicate fragile body
It is as fresh as we were
In the first meeting
It is enchanting
Just like your enticing youth
It has thorns to protect it
The way I am here to guard you
I am afraid
That it will be faded
In the same way
If I lose you, oh, my beloved
I shudder at the thought
That you are not
With me in my march
To make me happy with your touch
A sojourn life, when you are absent
Will add some dreadful torment
Life will lose its meaning
Face will wan, without grinning.
I will be terribly alone as I was
With disdain and torment life will l pass
