The Sand House: Part 2 Poem by Christopher Cariad

The Sand House: Part 2

I stretch my eyes through the musky air,
Seeing nothing but the sand's hair
Rising and falling
In the fluent breeze.
Stumbling to the ground
I beg for my kingdom to come around.
Wishing my life arise new,
I dream of that Palace
That was owned
And that was broken
In the distance of this sand house view.
